Abstract
Telemedicine has become an important innovation in modern healthcare by providing medical services through digital communication technologies. It allows patients to consult healthcare professionals remotely using video calls, mobile applications, and online healthcare platforms. The development of telemedicine has improved access to medical care, especially for people living in rural and underserved areas. This paper explores the importance of telemedicine, its applications, benefits, limitations, and future role in healthcare systems. Telemedicine helps reduce healthcare costs, improves patient monitoring, and supports early diagnosis and treatment. However, challenges such as technology access, data security, and limited physical examination remain important concerns. With continuous technological advancement, telemedicine has the potential to become a major component of global healthcare delivery.
